Raon The Ma Park
Try to book your horseback riding session in advance, especially on weekends! I didn't and ended up waiting longer than I wanted.
Wear comfy shoes and pants, because you'll be moving around a lot. I wore jeans and regretted it halfway through! Go for something more relaxed.
Jeju Horse Park
I think visiting on weekdays is best for fewer crowds. I went on a Thursday, and it felt so much more relaxed, plus we got better attention from the staff!
Vivaldi Park’s
Konjiam Resort
Naejangsan
Lotte World
Food can be pricey inside the park, so I suggest bringing some snacks. Just make sure they don't disallow outside food – I saw a couple of folks having to toss their snacks!
Try to get there right when it opens at 9:30 AM - it gets super crowded later, and you'll have the chance to enjoy some rides with little to no wait time. I missed out on some great attractions because I went later.
I really enjoyed the parades and performances, so I recommend checking their schedule. They were some of the highlights of my visit, and I wish I had planned better to catch all of them!
High1 Ski Resort
While snowmobiling is super fun, make sure to reserve your spot early. We showed up and were told it was fully booked, so we missed out!
When you're at the resort, keep an eye out for happy hour deals on food and drinks. I saved a good chunk of change on my meals by planning around those times!
If you're renting gear, do it in advance and try to get it during the week. The prices drop a lot then and you avoid the long lines on weekends
Namsan Park
Seokhojeong
I suggest going in the late afternoon around 4 PM. The crowds thin out, and you get the space to really enjoy your archery session.
Check the weather before you go. If it's too windy, the experience can be frustrating. I almost lost my focus when the wind picked up!
Bring a bottle of water and some snacks if you can. The prices on site are a bit steep, and you'll want to recharge between rounds.
Deogyusan Ski Resort
My advice is to check the weather forcasts a few days prior. We went on a cloudy day, and it kinda ruined the visibility on the slopes.
I recommend trying the local Korean food at one of the cafes instead of the overpriced resort dining. The bibimbap was so delish and way more affordable!
