Seoul Forest Park

Don't miss the butterfly conservatory; it's a small fee but totally worth it... I almost skipped it thinking it was just a typical garden, but it was so enchanting!

I recommend bringing a picnic! There are lovely spots to chill and enjoy some food. Plus, it saves you money compared to eating out nearby.
Olympic Park

I highly recommend renting a bike to explore Olympic Park. It's such a big area, and cycling makes it way more fun and faster! Plus, it’s pretty budget-friendly too.
I suggest checking out the Peace Park area—it tends to get overshadowed, but it has beautiful sculptures and less crowd. You might even find some quiet spots to relax.
Yondusan

My advice is to bring a picnic! There are lovely spots to sit and enjoy some snacks while soaking in the view.

I recommend wearing comfortable shoes since there are a bit of stairs and paths to explore; I regretted my choice of sandals when I visited!

I think it's a good idea to grab a coffee from one of the local vendors before heading up, as it gives you a nice treat while you admire the view.

I suggest visiting late afternoon, around 5 PM, to catch the sunset; it turns the whole area into a gorgeous orange glow. Plus, it tends to be less crowded at that hour.
Hallasan National Park

I recommend starting your hike by 7 am to beat the crowds and enjoy the peaceful nature. The trails are beautiful in the morning light, and you can take some awesome photos without too many people around.
Seoraksan National Park

I recommend getting there as early as 7 AM. The park gets really busy, and you'll want that quiet time to enjoy the views. Plus, it’s cooler for longer hikes.

My advice is to pack snacks and water. There are spots to buy food but it's way more expensive and the lines can be long during peak times.
Odaesan National Park

I recommend downloading a good offline map before heading out, since reception can be patchy, trust me it saved me a lot of time getting lost! Also, the trails can be a bit confusing if you're not familiar with them
