Hamdeok Beach

plan to spend some time exploring the nearby cafes. i stumbled upon a cute one right by the beach that served the best iced coffee and it was way cheaper than those big chains!

If you love photo ops, come just before sunset around 6:30 PM... The beach looks magical and you'll avoid the crowd while getting the best lighting for photos
Don’t forget the sunscreen, but also bring a hat! There’s a good amount of shade, but I still got sunburned because I underestimated the midday sun.
Manjanggul Cave
Jeonbang Waterfall

I think you should bring a reusable water bottle. There's not a ton of places to buy drinks nearby, and you can refill at the waterfall area!

I recommend checking out nearby attractions like Cheonjeyeon Waterfall too! It's a nice way to extend your day and see more of the beautiful landscape

My advice is to wear sturdy shoes because the path can be slippery and you don’t wanna go down while trying to snap a pic!

If you want to kick back and enjoy the view, bring a small snack and a light blanket. I saw some folks chilling out and it looked super relaxing.
Lotte World

Don't forgot to check the weather! If it's sunny, the outdoor rides are amazing, but if it rains, the indoor ones can get packed very quickly. I ended up missing a lot of rides due to sudden rain.

I suggest buying tickets online in advance to save a few bucks and make your entry smoother. Otherwise, you might find yourself standing in a long line just to buy tickets.

My advice is to download the Lotte World app. It shows ride wait times and maps out everything. It made navigating the park a lot easier – way better than looking at paper maps!

Food can be pricey inside the park, so I suggest bringing some snacks. Just make sure they don't disallow outside food – I saw a couple of folks having to toss their snacks!
Garden of Morning Calm
I think taking the shuttle bus from the nearest station was a smart move. It saved me a lot of time compared to figuring out local transport.

If you're into photography, try to go around 4 PM for the best natural light. I missed it and the photos turned out pretty dull!

My tip would be to wear comfortable shoes; there’s a lot of walking involved and some areas might be a bit rugged.

I recommend bringing a picnic! There are lovely spots to relax, and the food in the cafe was okay but a bit pricey for what you get.
Hwaam Cave

Don’t rush through the cave; take your time to admire the formations. I missed some cool spots because I was trying to keep up with the crowd.

I suggest wearing comfortable shoes because there's a fair bit of walking and climbing to do. Your feet will thank you later!

Check the weather before you go; it can get slippery inside the cave. I almost wiped out on some wet rocks!
Bring a flashlight if you have one; some parts of the cave are a bit dim and having your own light helps a ton!
Big Seoul Park

If you have little kids, check out the playground areas first. They loved running around there, and it let us recharge before hitting the zoo again!

I suggest getting there around 9 AM to beat the crowds. The early morning vibe is so peaceful, and you can enjoy the animals without the hustle. Plus, it gives you more time to explore!
Seoul Forest Park

Don't miss the butterfly conservatory; it's a small fee but totally worth it... I almost skipped it thinking it was just a typical garden, but it was so enchanting!

I recommend bringing a picnic! There are lovely spots to chill and enjoy some food. Plus, it saves you money compared to eating out nearby.
Haeundae

I suggest checking out the sunrise if you can! It’s so breathtaking and peaceful. But be prepared for a bit of a chill in the morning if you're visiting in fall or winter.

I recommend hitting the beach early around 8 AM to snag the best spots. It gets crowded fast, especially on weekends. Plus, you'll enjoy the calm vibe before all the fun starts.
