Cafe Thor
Try their nachos! They were a delicious surprise and a perfect snack while I played darts. Just make sure you grab some before they run out!
Definately check their drink specials. I found some great cocktails for half price on Tuesdays, which made the night even better!
I suggest going on a weeknight rather than the weekend if you want a more chill vibe. It gets pretty crowded, and you might have to wait for a dartboard.
My advice is to grab a seat by the darts area. Watching the games is a blast plus you can easily make friends if you join a game
Irish City Sport Bar
My advice is to chat with the staff about local events; they were super friendly and gave me some awesome tips on other places to check out in Madrid.
Ramiro Taberna
Check the darts schedule before you go, they have nights with tournaments, and it’s a blast to join in! I didn’t realize and missed out on some fun.
I think the tapas are a must-try, but some can be a bit pricy. Go for the share platters to get a taste of everything without breaking the bank.
If you're into darts, bring your own if you have them. I found out they have a limited number to borrow and they were all taken.
Get there around 8 PM if you can – it gets super busy after that, and you'll save yourself waiting for a spot
Chic Pepe's Bar S L
I recommend heading there on a weekday, especially Tuesday or Wednesday, as the crowd is much lighter and you can actually enjoy a few darts without waiting for a turn.
Entre Darts Rock
If you're new to darts like I was, ask the staff for tips or rules! They were super friendly and helped us get started, making our evening way more fun.
My advice is to check their social media for any special promotions or events. We stumbled upon a 'happy hour' that saved us a few euros on drinks.
I recommend going on a weekday evening if you can; it's way less crowded and you can easily get a dartboard. We went on a Friday and waited ages for a spot.
Sue’s Darts Bar
Happy hour is a steal! I suggest hitting up the bar between 5 PM and 7 PM for some really good drink deals. You'll save a ton if you plan your visit around that.
If you're shy about playing don’t be. Everyone is super welcoming and encouraging. I think it’s a big part of the fun so give it a go even if you're a beginner
If you want a quieter vibe, I think Thursday evenings are a win. Just enough people without the crazy weekend crowd.
Billares Caprichosio
My advice is to check out their specials on drinks and snacks. I found out later there are good deals, but I missed them during my visit and ended up spending more.
I suggest going on a weekday night instead of the weekend. It gets super crowded and you might have to wait for a table or a game. Plus, the vibe is pretty chill without the chaos!
La Birrita
I recommend trying the local craft beers – they're not just a gimmick. The prices are decent too, especially if you go for the happy hour specials before 8 PM
I think you should bring a few euros in cash. Some of the darts games had weird payment methods, and it saved me a bit of hassle when it came to settling my tab.
My advice is to engage with the staff. They’re super friendly and may offer you insider tips on the best drinks or even help you get a game of darts going!
