So, here’s a pro tip: check the weather before you go. I got really lucky with a sunny day, but some folks I met got rained out. Nobody wants soggy fun!

My advice is to wear a water-resistant case for your phone. I thought I wouldn't need it, but ended up with a wet phone after parasailing. Capture those epic moments without the worry!

Try to arrive before 10 AM if you can; it was way less crowded then. I got to enjoy more time on the jet ski without waiting around too long.

I suggest booking in advance to snag some sweet discounts. I booked my jet ski last minute and kinda missed out on a better deal. Also, the rush at peak times is no joke.

My advice is to check the wind conditions before you go. I thought it would be windy all the time, but some days were a bust. Save a trip and double-check!

I recommend booking your lessons in advance, especially during peak season. I didn’t and ended up waiting for the next available slot. Not fun!

I think getting a local sim card for data is essential. You’ll want to use Google Maps to find your way to the beach spots easily. I struggled a bit without one.

I think morning rentals, like around 9 AM, are the best. You get to see the beautiful sunrise and the water is less crowded. Perfect for swimming.

If you're thinking about exploring the coast, make sure to bring your own cooler with snacks. The boat rental prices for food are quite steep!

user avatar
Christopher February 16, 2025

I recommend booking your boat a week in advance, especially during peak season. It fills up quick, and you'll save yourself some stress!

Make sure to bring a snack! The diving can really wear you out and the boat snacks aren't the best. A quick bite between dives is a lifesaver.

Brandon December 7, 2024

I recommend investing in the package deals they offer. They saved me quite a bit compared to booking individual dives, plus you get discounts on equipment rental.

I think it's best to try to dive early in the morning around 8 AM. The water is calmer and visibility was way better then compared to later in the day.

Check the weather report before heading out. We got caught in some unexpected rain, which put a bit of a damper on our plans, so make sure you're prepared.

If you're not used to sailing, consider booking a guided experience. I found it super helpful to have someone show us the ropes – literally!

user avatar
Nathan December 25, 2024

Don’t rush the experience! Take your time to explore different spots around the coastline. We missed some hidden gems because we were too focused on the itinerary.

Donald November 29, 2024

Definitely bring your own snacks and drinks on board. The prices at the marina can be a total rip-off, and you’ll want to save your money for the fun stuff.
