Sierra Nevada Ski Resort

Plan to stay in nearby Granada for the night! The city is gorgeous, and you can enjoy some great local food after a day on the slopes. Then, it's just a short drive back to the resort.

If you’re planning to take ski lessons, try to book them for around 10 AM when the instructor is most fresh. I went in the afternoon and felt it was less effective.

Make sure to book your ski passes online ahead of time! I saved a bunch of cash this way and avoided long queues at the resort. Trust me, those lines can be a nightmare!

Pack your own snacks and drinks. I found the on-mountain food prices to be a bit steep. A simple sandwich and a thermos of hot chocolate made me feel like a genius while saving money

I recommend checking the weather report the day before you arrive. We had some unexpected fog on the first day, which made things tricky, so it's good to be prepared!

I suggest getting your lift pass online a few days in advance. It saved me a bit of cash, plus I skipped the long lines at the ticket booth!

If you're a newbie like me, start with the blue runs. They are a lot of fun and way less crowded in the morning. Don't forget to grab hot choco after.

My advice is to lunch a bit earlier than noon to avoid the rush. We waited over 30 minutes just for a seat at one of the popular spots.

don't miss the afternoon slope side at about 3 pm when most families start heading home. you'll have more space and can even catch some fresh powder!
La Molina

I recommend checking the online ski pass deals before you go. I saved some bucks booking in advance but I saw others paying more at the lifts.
I think bringing snacks and drinks can save you a lot on food costs. The on-mountain prices are pretty high, and some packed goodies kept us fueled while we were out.

I suggest booking your lift passes online before you go. It saved me some time on day one and there were no lines!

If you're renting gear, go to the smaller shops instead of the big ones. They usually have better prices and friendlier service. I found a hidden gem just a block from the main lift!
