Casa de Campo

i recommend exploring the lakes area. it’s peaceful and a nice break from the hustle of the city. you might even spot some ducks! just keep an eye on your belongings.

I suggest bringing a picnic along. The open spaces are perfect for lounging and enjoying a meal, plus it's way cheaper than buying food from stands.

Check out the lake area; it’s so peaceful! I didn’t go there until later in the day and missed out on some lovely photo ops. Go early!
Mirador San Nicolas
Ferrocarril de Soller

I think taking the train in the late afternoon is great for catching that golden hour light – just stunning views!

Don't forget to take a stroll around Soller after you arrive. The town is charming and it's a nice way to stretch your legs before heading back.
I recommend sitting on the left side of the train for the best views, especially when heading to Soller. It really makes a difference!

Be wary of crowded trains on weekends. If you can, try to visit on a weekday. I went on Saturday and it was super packed!
Barcelona Cable Car

Check the cable car schedule ahead of time. I went during a quieter season and found it was more limited than I expected, which cut our time short.

I recommend buying your tickets online to skip the long lines at the ticket booth. It saved me a ton of time!

If you want to save a bit of money, look for combo tickets that include other attractions like the Montjuïc Castle—it’s definitely worth it!

My advice is to bring a light jacket. When you're up in the cable car, it can get windy and a bit chilly, especially in the evening.
Balcony of Europe

I've noticed some restaurants near the Balcony have inflated prices. Check menus carefully and maybe wander a few blocks to find better deals.
Tibidabo

I recommend taking the funicular up to Tibidabo; the ride is a blast and the views start before you even get there! Just be sure to check the schedule—some times it's easy to miss.

My advice is to go on a weekday if you can. The weekends can get super crowded, and you might waste a lot of time waiting in line for rides and pictures.

I noticed that many overlooks get crowded fast, so try snapping your pics early in the day or just as golden hour hits. It’s worth the effort for those perfect shots!
Mirador del Puat
Mirador des Vedra

Wear comfy shoes! The pathways can be rocky, and I saw some poor folks struggling in flip-flops. Trust me, your feet will thank you after exploring.

Bring water and snacks. There are no facilities nearby, so I recommend packing some food to enjoy while soaking in those stunning views. It saved me from a hangry meltdown!

If it's windy, be careful with your belongings. I lost my hat because of a sudden gust. Bring something to secure your items, it's way easier to enjoy the view without worrying about your stuff!
