If you're into photography, I think the golden hour (right before sunset) is magic here. The light is sooo pretty, and you'll get stunning shots. Just make sure to time your hike.

My advice is to download an offline map before you go. I got a bit lost on the trails, and without service, it was a hassle retracing my steps.

Pack a picnic! There's nothing like enjoying a meal with a view in Skuleskogen. I saved some cash by bringing my own food instead of relying on local cafés

Wear good hiking shoes; the trails can be rugged. I wore my old sneakers and regretted it halfway through when my feet were sore!

Check the weather a day before you go. I underestimated how quick conditions can change and ended up drenched! Layering is key, but if I’d known about the chilly winds, I would have packed a warmer jacket.

I recommend packing some snacks and plenty of water. There are few places to grab food nearby, so you’ll want to save some cash and enjoy a picnic during your hike.

Make sure to download offline maps of the area. Cell service can be spotty, and I ended up wandering a bit because I couldn't get a signal for directions.
