The Vasa Museum

My advice is to dedicate at least 2-3 hours to really enjoy everything. I rushed through a bit and felt like I missed out on some cool details in the exhibits!

If you can, try to grab lunch at the café after you've explored. The view of the ship from there is amazing, and it gives you a nice moment to reflect on what you just saw.

I suggest visiting around 9 AM when it opens. You'll beat the crowds and have a much better time checking out the ship without having to shove your way through people.

check out the audio guide! it's included with your ticket and really gives you a great insight into the history of the vasa. plus, it helps you not miss any key parts!
Skansen

I recommend getting there right when they open at 10 AM. It was way less crowded, and I got to explore without constantly bumping into people.

Check out the schedule for animal feedings. I missed the cute goats because I didn’t know they had a set time – super bummer!
Wear comfy shoes! There’s a lot of walking on uneven paths, and my feet were killing me by the end of the day.

If you're going with kids don’t skip the children's zoo. It was such a hit with my little ones and it was a nice change of pace from the historical stuff.
Fotografiska
Universeum

i recommend bringing your own snacks and water because food inside can be pricey... plus, there’s plenty of spots to chill outside

I suggest checking out the rainforest exhibit first. It's super cool but gets crowded fast. You don’t wanna miss the monkeys and colorful birds!

If you can, go on a weekday, especially in the morning around 10 am. It was way less crowded, and I got to enjoy the exhibits at my own pace.

My advice is to buy your tickets online. I saved a few bucks and skipped the lines. More time for exploring, ya know?
Abba the Museum

Make sure to take part in the interactive parts! I was a bit shy at first, but once I joined in, it made my visit way more fun. It’s worth jumping in!

Try to visit on a weekday, preferably around 2 PM. The museum was much less crowded, and I had a better chance to enjoy everything without feeling rushed.

I recommend bringing your own headphones if you can. The audio guide was nice, but mine didn’t work half the time and it was annoying to wait for a replacement!
The Museum of the Nordic Countries
Swedish Museum of Natural History
I recommend downloading the museum's app before you go. It has neat audio guides and maps that can save you time wandering around, plus you can plan your visit better!

I suggest checking if there are any special exhibits during your visit. I stumbled upon a cool temporary display that wasn't on my radar, but it made my trip extra fun!

If you can, come on a quiet weekday around 2 PM. I found the exhibits less crowded, and I could really take my time looking at everything without feeling rushed.
The Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology

My advice is to visit on a weekday if you can; it gets packed on weekends, and you won't enjoy the exhibits as much with crowds around.

Make sure to engage with the staff; they are super helpful and can point out things you might overlook.
Plan to spend at least 3-4 hours here; there's so much to explore! I felt rushed, and I missed some cool exhibits.
