Bring your own lunch! The mountain eateries are cute, but pricier than you'd expect. I packed a sandwich and saved a ton, plus it was nice to snack on the slopes.

Don’t forget to try the local cheese fondue after a long day of snowboarding. It’s super cozy and a great way to unwind; just be ready for a bit of a wait during peak hours.
If you want to skip gear rental lines, bring your own equipment. Rentals can take a while, especially during peak season, and having your own saves time!
Titlis Bergbahnen

If you’re a beginner, definitely check out the ski school. The instructors were super friendly and helped me get the hang of things quickly.

Buy your lift tickets online before your visit to avoid long lines at the counters; it saved me so much time!

Check out the glacier park; it's fun and suitable for all skill levels. I ended up spending way more time there than I expected—so worth it.
Bring your own snacks to save some cash—food up on the mountain can be pricey, and I wish I had packed a lunch instead of splurging on cafe food.
Grindelwald-First

My advice is to bring your own gear if you can. Renting can get super expensive, especially if you need multiple days - I ended up paying way too much!

If you’re coming for skiing or snowboarding aim for weekdays rather than weekends. The slopes are way less crowded and you’ll have more space to enjoy!

I suggest buying your lift tickets online a day before. It saves you a few bucks and time waiting in line, plus you can plan your day better!
Crans-Montana Ski Resort
Flumserberg Ski Resort

Check out the panoramic restaurant up on the mountain. It's a bit pricier, but the view is totally worth it. I suggest going around 12:30 to beat the lunch rush.

If you're renting equipment go to one of the shops just off the main slopes instead of the resort ones. They tend to be cheaper and the staff was super helpful unlike my first experience at the resort rental shop!
Paquis Baths
Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

Definitely pack your own snacks and drinks. The restaurants up there can be super pricey, I learned this the hard way when I spent way too much on a sandwich.

I recommend checking the weather forecast closely before visiting. I had a blast, but two of my friends didn't see anything due to fog, so plan accordingly!

I suggest getting the early gondola at 8:00 AM. The views are breathtaking and you’ll avoid the crowds before they flock in around noon.

If you're planning to snowboard or ski, rent your gear in Zermatt instead of up on the mountain. It’ll save you some cash and keep you from lugging it around.
Verbier

Try to hit the slopes early, like around 8 AM, especially on weekends... You'll avoid the crowds, and it makes for a much better skiing experience – trust me!

I recommend buying your ski pass online before your trip; it saves you time and often gives you access to discounts. I managed to save a bit that way!
Hang Gliding Interlaken
I recommend wearing layers, as the weather can change quickly in the mountains. It was sunny one minute and chilly the next, and I felt a bit cold up in the air. A light jacket worked wonders!

You might want to bring some snacks or a small water bottle. There wasn’t much time between the briefing and the flight, and I was kinda hungry afterwards. Keeping some snacks handy would be bright!

I suggest booking your flight in the morning around 9am. The winds are generally calmer and the views are breathtaking at that time. Plus you'll have the rest of the day for other activities!
Paintball 24

i really recommend booking the package deals online to save some cash – it's way cheaper than paying at the door, plus you avoid the long lines!

Make sure to hydrate before you go! I made the mistake of forgetting my water bottle and ended up feeling a bit off during the games.
