Kunsthaus Zurich

My advice is to spend a little time reading the info next to the artworks. I skipped it at first, but it really enhanced my understanding and appreciation later.

I think visiting on a Sunday is great too! They often have special exhibits or events that aren’t available during the week.

if you're into contemporary art, definitely explore the newer sections first! i found they were less crowded and more engaging early in the day.

I recommend taking advantage of discounted entry on Wednesdays if you can! It’s a nice way to save some cash, plus it wasn't too crowded.
Olympic Museum

Don't skip the rooftop terrace for killer views of Lake Geneva! It's a great photo op and a nice place to take a break.

I suggest getting there right when they open at 9am. It gets super busy later, and you'll have way more space to enjoy things without the crowds

Oh, and remember to take a break at the cafe. Their snacks are actually pretty good and a perfect way to recharge before you dive back in.

My advice is to check out the temporary exhibits too. I thought for sure they’d be boring, but they turned out to be some of the highlights.
Swiss National Museum

If you're into photography, make sure to visit the outdoor area. I didn’t realize how picturesque it would be, and now I wish I had more photos from there!

My advice is to use the audio guides; they are super informative and will give you insights that you might miss otherwise. Just don’t forget your headphones!
Ballenberg Open Air Museum
My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. There’s a lot of walking involved, and some paths are a bit uneven, so you don't want to end up with sore feet!

I think planning to visit on a weekday really helps. It was way less crowded than on weekends, and I could take my time exploring without feeling rushed.

I suggest grabbing a map from the entrance. It shows all the workshops, and you can plan which cheesemaking demos you don’t want to miss, especially if you're a cheese lover!
Natural History Museum

Check out the museum's free entry on the first Sunday of each month! I wish I knew this before; saved some cash for my lunch afterward.

If you're planning to spend some time there, bring a snack or a water bottle. The cafe is a bit pricey, and you can easily lose track of time exploring the cool displays!
Bern History Museum
Red Crescent Museum
Museum of Communication

I found it super helpful to grab a map right at the entrance. It really saved me time wandering aimlessly! Plus, they highlight fun exhibits that you might miss otherwise.

If you're a student or under 26, def show your ID for a discount... I scored reduced tickets both times I visited and it made my day even better

My advice is to check the schedule for temporary exhibits online before you go. I almost missed one that was really fascinating, and it was only on for a short time!
Natural History Museum of Bern

I suggest getting there right when it opens at 10 AM to beat the crowds - it gets busy! You'll have more time to explore at your own pace.

If you're on a budget, look out for combo tickets with nearby attractions... I saved a little cash that way and got to see even more

Don't skip the gift shop, but check for clearance items first. I found some cool souvenirs at half price that I loved
Patek Philippe Museum

I recommend going on a weekday, ideally around 10 AM. It was way less crowded then, and I could admire the watches without feeling rushed. Weekends can be a zoo!
