Kunsthaus Zurich
if you're into contemporary art, definitely explore the newer sections first! i found they were less crowded and more engaging early in the day.
I recommend taking advantage of discounted entry on Wednesdays if you can! It’s a nice way to save some cash, plus it wasn't too crowded.
I suggest grabbing a quick bite at the museum café before you start exploring. They have tasty options, and it’s a nice spot to relax for a few minutes.
Olympic Museum
Oh, and remember to take a break at the cafe. Their snacks are actually pretty good and a perfect way to recharge before you dive back in.
My advice is to check out the temporary exhibits too. I thought for sure they’d be boring, but they turned out to be some of the highlights.
If you're short on time, focus on the interactive exhibits. They were def my fave and you can easily lose track of time in the less engaging parts.
Grab a museum pass if you're planning to visit other local spots. It can save you a bit of cash if you're keen to explore more than just the museum.
Swiss National Museum
My advice is to use the audio guides; they are super informative and will give you insights that you might miss otherwise. Just don’t forget your headphones!
Ballenberg Open Air Museum
I suggest grabbing a map from the entrance. It shows all the workshops, and you can plan which cheesemaking demos you don’t want to miss, especially if you're a cheese lover!
Natural History Museum
If you're planning to spend some time there, bring a snack or a water bottle. The cafe is a bit pricey, and you can easily lose track of time exploring the cool displays!
Bern History Museum
Red Crescent Museum
Natural History Museum of Bern
If you're on a budget, look out for combo tickets with nearby attractions... I saved a little cash that way and got to see even more
Don't skip the gift shop, but check for clearance items first. I found some cool souvenirs at half price that I loved
Museum of Communication
My advice is to check the schedule for temporary exhibits online before you go. I almost missed one that was really fascinating, and it was only on for a short time!
