Rhine Falls
Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

Definitely pack your own snacks and drinks. The restaurants up there can be super pricey, I learned this the hard way when I spent way too much on a sandwich.

I recommend checking the weather forecast closely before visiting. I had a blast, but two of my friends didn't see anything due to fog, so plan accordingly!

I suggest getting the early gondola at 8:00 AM. The views are breathtaking and you’ll avoid the crowds before they flock in around noon.

If you're planning to snowboard or ski, rent your gear in Zermatt instead of up on the mountain. It’ll save you some cash and keep you from lugging it around.
The Matterhorn-Switzerland

I think it's worth trying the local restaurants but watch out for tourist traps! I had a overpriced meal that didn't live up to the hype; ask locals for spots they recommend

My advice is to buy the Zermatt Mountain Ticket online. It saves you some bucks and time at the ticket booth, and you can focus more on enjoying the trams!

If you're planning on hiking, bring plenty of water and snacks. I ran out of energy on my first hike, and it dampened the experience a little. Staying fueled is key!

I suggest catching the sunrise at around 6:00 AM. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and there are fewer crowds, plus it makes for some great photos.
Tamina Therme Bad Ragaz

My advice is to bring a reusable water bottle. You can refill it there, and staying hydrated while lounging in the thermal baths is super important.

I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can. It was way less crowded, and I could really enjoy the pools without feeling rushed.
Giessbach Falls
Matterhorn

Take a moment to explore the village of Zermatt after your hike. There are some cute shops and local foods that are cheaper than the touristy spots by the lifts. I found some great cheese!

Make sure to catch the sunrise around 6 AM; the glow on the Matterhorn is breathtaking and way less crowded. Bring a thermos of coffee to enjoy while you wait!
Lake Geneva

When it comes to food, I suggest checking out local bakeries for lunch instead of restaurants. You can grab delicious pastries and sandwiches that are way cheaper.

If you plan to visit the Chillon Castle I recommend going right when it opens at 9 AM. You can explore without the usual tourist rush and it’s much more enjoyable
English Garden
Oeschinensee
Holy Beat's Caves

I recommend grabbing lunch at one of the local cafes before your visit; the food near the caves can be expensive and not that great.
