Funicular Gelmerbahn

i suggest grabbing a snack before you head up the gelmerbahn. the views are unreal, but the food options up there are pricey and limited. save your money for the fun stuff!

I think bringing some water is a must. There are places to buy drinks at the top, but they come with a pretty high markup! Staying hydrated while you hike around is key to having a great time.

I recommend taking the funicular in the morning around 9 AM. The lines are shorter, and you'll get to enjoy the breathtaking scenery with fewer people around. Plus, you’ll have the whole day to explore!
Stanserhorn

If you're planning to take the cable car, I recommend getting there around 8:30 AM. It’s less crowded, and you’ll get to enjoy the views without waiting in long lines. Plus, you can take some stunning morning photos.

Check out the lunch options before heading up. I found that the restaurant at the top can be pricey and crowded so it’s better to grab a snack at the base or pack a picnic to enjoy at the viewpoint!
Eiger Express

I recommend buying your tickets online in advance to avoid those long lines. I made that mistake, and it took forever to get my tickets. This way you save time and can jump right onto the gondola.
Gemmipass Cable Cars
Cable Car Helmer

I recommend checking the weather beforehand. It was a bummer when I visited and the views were totally obscured by clouds. A clear day makes all the difference.

I suggest buying your tickets online before you go; it saves you time in line when you get there. I did and it made everything so much smoother!
