Rudaki Park

Bring some snacks or a small picnic! There are benches and lovely spots to chill, and you can save a bit on overpriced cafe treats nearby

I think exploring the smaller pathways away from the main walk is worth it. That's where I found some hidden gems like cute sculptures and peaceful spots without loads of tourists!
Iskanderkul

I suggest bringing some snacks and water with you. There aren’t many shops around, and I regretted not packing enough food for the hike. Trust me, it's a long way to the best viewpoints!
Botanical Garden
Kairakkum Reservoir
Sarez Lake
Tajik National Park

I recommend packing your food and drinks before you hike there. The nearest stores are quite far, and the prices at those little shops can be crazy. You can save a lot and enjoy a picnic among the stunning views.

My advice is to invest in a local SIM card for your phone. It helped me navigate the park and keep in touch with friends. Plus, those mountain trails can get a bit confusing!
Somoni Park

I suggest grabbing a snack from the local vendors before you go in; they have some delicious treats that are way cheaper than what's inside the park. It saved me money for souvenirs later!

My advice is to visit around 5 PM. The park lights up beautifully at sunset, and it’s way less crowded then, plus you can enjoy a relaxing evening stroll without feeling rushed.
