I recommend getting there right when it opens at 8:30 AM. The crowds are way less, and you can take stunning pics without hoards of people in the background.
Check out the Royal Chapel but be careful about the strict dress code. I saw so many visitors getting turned away for inappropriate clothing!

Wear comfortable shoes! There’s a lot of walking, and some areas can be uneven. I regretted wearing my stylish shoes instead of sneakers.

If you're looking for the best pics, hit the museum right at 10 AM. The lighting is perfect then, and you won't have to deal with big crowds, which totally ruins those fun selfies

My advice is to grab a combo ticket for the museum and the nearby attractions. It saved me a few bucks, and I got to see more without breaking the bank.
