Bring plenty of water and snacks to save money. The nearby café is pricey and I regretted not packing more food for our hike.

I suggest getting there early, around 7 AM, to avoid the crowds and enjoy the sunrise over the dam. It was breathtaking!

I suggest wearing sturdy shoes for the trails. I slipped a couple of times in flip-flops, and trust me, hiking boots will save you a lot of trouble.

Definitely bring lots of water and snacks, especially if you plan to hike around the ruins. The heat can be intense, and there are limited places to grab a bite

My advice is to download offline maps before you go. The signal can be spotty, and it saved me a lot of time trying to find my way back when I got a bit lost
