Mevlana Museum

I recommend visiting early, around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds and really soak in the peaceful vibe of the museum. It made such a difference for me

I think it's worth checking out the gift shop for unique souvenirs related to Mevlana. I found some beautiful items that aren’t available elsewhere in Turkey.

My advice is to take your time exploring the exhibits. The details are easy to miss if you rush through. I regret not spending more time by some of the beautiful artifacts.
If you're on a budget, check out nearby cafes for quick and cheap bites before or after your visit. I found a great spot just a few minutes away.
Topkapi

Make sure to check out the Harem section; it's a separate ticket but totally worth it. I thought I'd skip it, but it ended up being a highlight.

Don't forget to bring a bottle of water! There are limited places to buy drinks inside, and I found myself super thirsty during the tour.

If you're a fan of photography, visit early in the morning, around 9 AM, when the light is perfect and the crowds are smaller.

I recommend buying your tickets online in advance to skip the long lines. It saved me a ton of time!
Basilica Cistern
Rahmi M. Koch Museum
Zeugma Mosaic Museum

Don't rush! Spend some time sitting and gazing at the mosaics – each one tells a story. I found myself lost in the details more than once.

If you’re looking to save some bucks, grab a snack from a nearby cafe before you go in. The museum café is nice, but can be a bit pricey.

keep an eye on your belongings. there are some tight spots in the museum where it can get a bit cramped. i nearly bumped into a cute little statue!

Take advantage of the museum’s awesome audio guide. It’s super informative and makes the experience a lot richer without breaking the bank
Panorama 1453

My advice is to take your time with the multimedia displays; they really enhance the experience! I rushed through and missed out on some cool info.

If you're on a budget, I suggest getting the combo ticket that includes other historical sites nearby. It saves you some cash and makes planning easier.
Ulujanlar Prison Museum
Check out the small gift shop before you leave! I found some unique souvenirs that aren't just typical tourist stuff, plus they’re pretty affordable.
Bring cash for the entrance fee; I had issues with card payments there. It's not super expensive, but you don't wanna get caught without cash!

Make sure to take breaks outside; the gardens are peaceful and perfect for chilling before heading back inside for more exhibits!

If you can, visit on a weekday around 10 AM. The crowds are way lighter then, and you can really soak in the atmosphere without feeling rushed
Ankara History Museum
Istanbul Archaeological Museum

I suggest checking the museum's website for ticket prices beforehand. I thought they'd be higher, but they were super affordable! Also, kids under a certain age may get in free. Perfect for families!

Make sure to bring a portable charger. I was snapping pictures and my phone died pretty quick. The museum is huge, and you might want to take tons of pics.

I think you should check out the special exhibits if you can. I stumbled upon one that wasn't in the main display and it was so fascinating! You don’t always know what will pop up.
