Shevchenko Park
Make sure to wear comfy shoes! The park is quite big and you'll likely do a lot of walking. I didn't, and I regretted it halfway through my visit.
I think visiting during weekdays is better. On weekends it gets really busy with locals and tourists; I found it hard to enjoy the atmosphere on a Saturday.
I suggest visiting in the early morning, around 8 AM, when the park is less crowded and cooler. It gives you a peaceful vibe and some great photo ops before the crowds hit.
Odessa City Garden
I suggest exploring the park’s hidden paths. There are some quiet corners that are perfect for relaxing and you might stumble upon some beautiful flowers or art installations.
National Dendrological Park
Don’t forget your camera! The views are amazing and there are so many beautiful spots to capture. I regret not taking enough photos because I was lost in the moment.
Wear comfortable shoes! I learned this the hard way. The paths can be uneven in certain areas, so having good footwear made a huge difference during our stroll.
Check the weather before you go! I was caught in a drizzle, which dampened the experience a bit. A nice sunny day makes the vibrant plants pop and the walk more enjoyable.
Plan your visit in the morning right when the park opens at 9 AM. It’s way less crowded, and you can enjoy the serenity of nature without bumping into too many people.
Arboretum Victory
If you're into plant life, definitely grab a map at the entrance. It’ll help you find the coolest spots and you won't miss any of the hidden gems!
I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The cafe options are limited and kinda pricey, so save some cash and enjoy a picnic instead!
Don't forget to charge your phone! You'll want to snap plenty of photos, and the sunset views around 5 PM are to die for. Just awesome!
Check out the trees in the southern section first; they have some unique species and it's usually less busy. I think you’ll love the tranquility there.
Park Named after Maxim Gorky
Stryisky Park
My advice is to bring some snacks and drinks. There are not that many kiosks inside the park, and they can be a bit overpriced. Save your coin for a nice meal later!
i recommend checking out the small lake in the park. it’s a perfect spot to chill and enjoy some quiet time. just be careful with the ducks; they're super friendly, but they might steal your food!
Istanbul Park
I recommend visiting Istanbul Park in the late afternoon, around 4 PM. The light is beautiful, and it's quieter, so you can enjoy the greenery without the big crowds.
My advice is to bring some snacks and drinks with you. There are limited food options inside, and the prices can be a bit steep.
Podilski Tovtry National Park
Skolivski Beskydy National Park
I think hiking maps are a must! Some trails aren't well-marked, and having a map saved me from taking a few wrong turns.
Don't forget to check the weather before you go! It can change pretty fast in the mountains, and I got caught in a rainstorm without a jacket, which wasn't fun.
Park them. Ivan Franko
If you can, come around 5 PM. The sunset views are absolutely stunning, and the ambiance is so calming as the crowds start to thin out.
I highly recommend walking the paths that lead away from the main entrance. They are quieter and so beautiful, perfect for relaxing and taking photos without the crowds.
