I suggest visiting around 7 PM when the lights truly pop! It gets super crowded post 8 PM, so you'll snag some great pics without too many people in the background

I think you should wear comfortable shoes. It’s bigger than I expected, and you'll be walking around a lot; blisters will ruin your fun!
