RollerStop CIC
My advice is to visit on a Wednesday evening around 6 PM. It was way less crowded, and I could glide without bumping into people every two seconds
I think bringing your own snacks is a good idea. The prices for food and drinks on site can be a bit steep, and I regretted not packing a few bites.
Source Park
If you're new to skating, try to go on a weekday afternoon, like around 2 PM. It’s much quieter, and you’ll have more space to practice without being overwhelmed by crowds
I recommend checking out their café for a quick snack and drink; the prices are reasonable, and it’s a nice break when you need to recharge!
Rollers Roller Rink
I suggest going on a weekday if you can; weekends get super crowded and you might be waiting forever for the skate rental. I went on a Thursday and it was way more chill
My advice is to bring your own skates if you have them. The rentals are okay, but I felt way more comfortable in my own. Plus, it saves a bit of cash too!
I recommend grabbing a snack before you leave! The cafe inside is kinda pricey and not the best. I got something that wasn't fresh at all, so I'd suggest eating outside instead.
Smokie Mo’s Wheels of Fire Roller Disco
I recommend bringing your own snacks if you can; the prices at the bar can be a bit steep. I thought I’d just grab a quick bite, but ended up spending more than I planned!
I suggest checking their Instagram for any flash sales on skate rentals, I saved a few quid this way! Also, avoid the peak hours on Fridays; it gets super packed and you might not get enough skating time.
Skating Haven
My advice is to bring your own skates if you have them. Renting can be a bit pricey, and the quality isn't always great. Plus, you'll feel more comfortable skating on your own gear!
I suggest you get your tickets online in advance, it saved me time and a few quid! Plus, you might find some discounts if you look around. Also, avoid peak hours like Friday evenings; it gets super crowded.
