Tower Bridge
Buckingham Palace
make sure to check the changing of the guard schedule. i missed it because i didn't factor in the time, and it was a bummer.
I suggest booking your tickets online in advance. I didn’t, and I ended up waiting in a huge line just to buy them at the entrance.
Bring a small snack! There are limited food options around and I was grateful I had some snacks to munch on while I waited for my tour to start.
If you want a great photo op, head to the front gates about half an hour before the Changing of the Guard; it’s the perfect spot to catch the action.
Trafalgar Square
Arena O2
Check the O2 website for dining deals before you go; many restaurants have discounts that you might miss otherwise.
Plan to explore the surrounding area; there are some cute shops and cafes nearby that are worth checking out before or after your event.
Try to arrive around 6 PM if you're attending a concert; the venue gets super crowded but queues move quickly
Bring a reusable water bottle; they let you refill at designated stations and it saves you money on overpriced drinks
London Big Ben
Westminster Abbey
London Bridge
You might want to save your money for the food at street vendors, because I found the cafes near the bridge kinda overrated and overpriced. I was not impressed.
I think taking the ferry from London Bridge to Greenwich is a fab idea. It’s a nice way to see the city from the water and it's much more chill than the Tube.
I suggest visiting London Bridge in the morning, around 9 AM, when it’s less crowded and you can snap some good photos without too many people in the way.
St Paul's Cathedral
Consider buying a combination ticket for St Paul’s and a few nearby attractions. I found it a great way to save some money and make the most of my day.
Albert Hall
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
I suggest visiting on a weekday. The weekends can get super crowded, and you’ll not get to enjoy the views as much.
I think you should wear comfy shoes because you'll be walking a lot. The park is huge and there's so much to see.
Don’t miss the Lee Valley VeloPark! Rent a bike for a few hours. It's a fun way to explore, and you’ll get to see some hidden parts of the park.
