Buckingham Palace

I recommend spending some time in the gardens; they’re beautiful and offer a nice break from the crowds. Just be mindful of the time to not miss your entry!

make sure to check the changing of the guard schedule. i missed it because i didn't factor in the time, and it was a bummer.

I suggest booking your tickets online in advance. I didn’t, and I ended up waiting in a huge line just to buy them at the entrance.

Bring a small snack! There are limited food options around and I was grateful I had some snacks to munch on while I waited for my tour to start.
Tower of London

I think you should take some time to just wander around the outer areas of the Tower. It's less crowded there and still has awesome views and history

I suggest getting there right when they open at 9 AM. The crowds build up fast, and you'll have a better chance to explore without bumping into too many people.

I recommend packing a sandwich or snack. The food inside is a bit pricey and if you're on a budget, it'll help save some cash.

If you're planning to see the Crown Jewels, go straight there first! The line gets super long, and they’re really impressive, so don't miss them.
Edinburgh Castle
Windsor Castle
Stirling Castle

If you can, visit on a weekday. The weekends can get pretty busy, and you might find yourself waiting in line to explore certain areas.
Warwick Castle
Conwy Castle
Dover Castle
Leeds Castle
Carnarvon Castle

Don't just stick to the main courtyard, explore the towers and hidden nooks. I wandered into a few less trafficked areas and discovered some amazing views and cool little details.

I suggest checking the weather before your visit. It can be super windy up there and it rained on my visit, which not only made it chilly but also slippery.

Get a coffee or snack from the cafe inside the castle; the vibes are cozy and it saves you from dragging your snacks along. My advice is to try the cake, it’s delish!

Arrive before 10 AM to avoid the crowds and enjoy more peaceful views of the castle. I got some great photos in the early light.
