National Park Lake District

If you're into photography, golden hour is the way to go. I suggest starting your hikes around 7 PM for the best light and fewer crowds.

Bring layers! The weather can change super quickly, so I recommend packing a light rain jacket and some warm clothes even in summer.

Pack a good lunch! There aren't many options for food once you're out exploring, and trust me, a scenic picnic beats any overpriced snack from the shops
Loch Ness

I recommend visiting the Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition, but get there early. It’s super informative! Plus, if you go just before lunch, you can enjoy it without rush.

Try to catch the sunrise around 6 AM if you can. The early morning mist over the loch is just stunning and you’ll avoid the crowds for some peaceful pics.

Look out for local shops and markets in nearby villages like Drumnadrochit – you can find cool souvenirs and snacks that aren’t tourist-trap prices!
Tarn Hows

I suggest visiting Tarn Hows during the golden hour, around 7 PM, for stunning sunset views that make for amazing photos. The light is just magical.
