Try the local drinks! I loved their red wine and the special cocktails – definitely worth a taste!

If you're not into heavy crowds, consider going on a weeknight. It’s much more laid-back and you can chat easier.

Check out the live music schedule ahead of time. Planning your visit around a band you like can really enhance your experience.

Bring cash if you can. Some reviews mention certain payments can be tricky with cards, especially on busy nights.
Pizzorno Family Estates
Bodega Garzon
Montevideo Wine Experience

Definitely check out their happy hour! I found out they have great wine deals from 5-6 PM. It's an awesome way to try a few varieties without breaking the bank.

If you’re unsure what to choose, ask for the staff to recommend something local! They love sharing their knowledge, and I ended up with a fantastic Uruguayan tannat. So good!

I suggest booking your wine tasting in advance, especially on weekends. I didn’t, and ended up waiting for about 30 mins because it was super busy.
Chains Pub

If you plan to try their cocktails, my advice is to ask the bartender for recommendations... They make some fantastic blends that aren’t on the menu but are really worth it

I suggest going on a Thursday night. It tends to be less crowded, giving you more space to enjoy the vibe and chat with the friendly staff. Plus, you might catch some cool local talent performing.

Keep an eye on their special events! I stumbled upon a drag show, and it made my night unforgettable. It’s a great way to experience local culture in a fun atmosphere.

I recommend connecting with locals at the bar. They are super friendly and can point you to other LGBT-friendly spots nearby, making for a great night out after Chains Pub.
Wine Eden

My advice is to ask about any combo deals for wine tastings and tours. I saved a few bucks doing this and it definitely made my visit more worthwhile.

I recommend setting aside some time to explore the vineyards on foot. The views and fresh air were so refreshing, and it’s a great way to soak in the whole experience. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes!

I think it's best to visit on weekdays. The crowd is way smaller then, so you can enjoy tastings without feeling rushed. I went on a Saturday and it was packed!
