Yosemite National Park

I highly recommend downloading the Yosemite app before you go. It’s super helpful for trail maps and getting real-time updates on conditions.

If you're interested in photography, the golden hour around sunset is a game-changer for capturing the park's beauty. Don't rush out of there too early!

Check out the lesser-known spots like Mariposa Grove instead of just the popular ones like El Capitan. They’re just as beautiful but way less crowded!

I think it’s a good idea to wear hiking shoes even if you're just planning to wander. I learned the hard way when my flip-flops didn't cut it on the trails.
Perrine Bridge Twin Falls,Idaho

I suggest exploring the trails nearby for a cool view of the canyon. It’s free and you get some fantastic photo ops without having to deal with crowds.

if you're planning to watch the base jumpers, head over around 11 am when they usually start showing up. the vibes are super chill, and you can snag a good spot for pics.
New River Gorge Bridge

make sure to bring cash for parking; not all places accept cards and it can save you time. i almost got stuck looking for an atm!

The best views are during dusk; I recommend getting there around 6 PM. You won't want to miss that sunset over the gorge!
Base Jump Moab

If you're new to BASE jumping, I recommend taking a few practice jumps with an instructor. It boosts your confidence and makes the experience way better.

I suggest booking your jump in advance. It fills up quickly, especially on weekends, and you definitely don't want to miss out!

Check the weather a day in advance. Wind can be a total dealbreaker, and it’s disappointing if you’ve planned your whole trip around jumping

Bring snacks and water. There’s not much around the jumping area, and you'll want to stay energized between jumps.
Tandem Base

I recommend visiting during the weekdays instead of the weekend to avoid the crowds. Trust me, it made a huge difference in enjoying the jumps and taking my time.

I think it's a good idea to arrive at least an hour before your jump time. This way, you can properly prepare, chill out, and take in the stunning scenery without rushing.
Snake River BASE Academy

I think it's a good idea to chat with the instructors beforehand. They can give you personalized tips and might even share some cool local spots for after your jump.

I recommend booking your jump session in advance, especially during peak season, to avoid long wait times... The academy can get super busy, and the last-minute rush isn’t fun!
