Honolulu Soaring
I suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater, especially if you're sensitive to cooler air at higher altitudes. It can get a bit chilly up there!
If you’re looking to save some cash, ask about any last-minute deals or discounts. I got a nice price cut just by asking when I checked in.
Oregon Helicopters Downtown Portland Heliport
If you can, go on a weekday morning. It’s less crowded, and you get more personalized attention from staff.
Rainbow Air Inc
I think you should look for combo deals with other attractions in the area. I ended up saving by getting a discount on the helicopter ride when I booked a tour of the falls plus some other local sites
Sky Sailing
I suggest checking the weather the day before your go... If it's too windy or cloudy, they might cancel flights... I didn’t get to go up because of that, which was a bummer!
MaxFlight Helicopter Services Inc.
If you're thinking of booking a flight do it in advance! I got a discount on my booking by booking a week ahead which saved me a nice amount. Don’t miss out!
Southern California Soaring Academy
I think you should bring snacks and water—it's a bit of a wait, and you'll want to stay energized while you chill.
I suggest booking your flight in advance if you want to save some cash! Prices can jump up last minute, so plan ahead.
My advice is to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. You'll be climbing in and out of the glider, and you want to be comfy!
If you can, try to visit on a weekday instead of weekends... It’s way less crowded and you’ll get more personalized attention...
Charm City Helicopters
I think it’s best to arrive 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled flight. This way, you can enjoy the little briefing and take some photos of the helicopter before hopping in.
My advice is to wear something comfy because you will be strapped in for a bit, and you don’t want to be fussing with your clothes during the flight
One thing I wish I knew was to ask the pilot about landmarks during the flight. I was too busy enjoying the view and missed out on cool details
I recommend booking your flight early in the day like around 9 AM. The skies are clearer then and you get amazing views of the city before the sun gets too harsh.
Michigan Helicopters
I think you should ask the pilot about the best spots to see! I pointed out a few things during my flight but realized I missed some amazing views. So don’t be shy, chat it up!
I recommend checking out the special deals or packages on their website before you go. I saved some good money by snagging a combo flight and tour package, which was way worth it!
Above the Clouds Hot Air Balloon Rides
If you can, go for the sunrise flight! The views are unreal and the colors in the sky are just breathtaking. You won't regret it!
I think it's worth spending a little extra for the champagne toast afterward. It made the experience feel more special and everyone enjoyed it.
Columbus Aeronauts
I think you should bring cash to tip the crew. They work hard to make your experience special, and I saw some folks regretting not having anything to give.
If you want the best views, try to schedule your flight around sunrise or sunset. We did sunset, and the colors were amazing! Just be sure to book a few weeks ahead.
