I think mornings are the best time to visit, like around 8 AM. The course is less crowded and you get that fresh vibe, plus perfect for pics!
The Leadbetter Golf Academy of Maui

Arrive early to warm up. I found the range to be less crowded early in the morning—around 7 AM was perfect for me—and it’s a nice way to start the day.

Definitely make reservations for lessons in advance. They get booked up quickly, especially during peak times. I waited too long one day and missed out!
Kapalua Golf Academy
Jim McLean Golf School
Largo Golf Course

I recommend checking out the twilight rates if you’re looking to save some cash. I played in the late afternoon and it was a great deal, plus the sunset views were amazing!
If you're not the best golfer, I suggest hitting the driving range before tackling the course. I did it and felt way more confident when I finally teed off!

I think getting there by 8 AM on weekends is key to avoid the crowds. It was pretty busy around 10 AM and I had to wait longer than I’d like.

My advice is to bring your own clubs if you can. Rental fees can add up, and the rental clubs weren’t in the best shape when I went.
Don Knabe Golf Center & Junior Academy

Bring your own water bottle! The vending machines can be a bit overpriced. Staying hydrated is super important when you’re out on the course.

My advice is to explore the area around the academy too. There are some nice parks nearby where you can chill after your round, and it’s less crowded than the golf center!

If you're renting clubs, I recommend getting there at least 30 minutes early... The line can get kinda long and it's best to have extra time to warm up

I suggest checking if they have any special deals during the weekdays. I saved some cash by golfing on a Tuesday when they had a sweet discount!
Classic Club Golfcali

If you’re hungry after your round, hit up the clubhouse for lunch. The prices were reasonable and way better than nearby restaurants. I wish I’d known that before!

Check their rental equipment beforehand. I was surprised they had really good clubs available for rent, but it can get busy; reserving them in advance was a lifesaver.

For a chill experience, I suggest going during weekday mornings; the course isn’t crowded, and you can enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed.
Chi-Chi Rodriguez Golf Club and Sports Complex

I think arriving around 8 AM is the best bet if you wanna avoid crowds. We grabbed breakfast and had the course nearly to ourselves for the first couple of hours. It made for a more relaxed experience!
Nancy Quarcelino School Of Golf

To save some cash, I think the package deals for multiple lessons are super worth it. I paid full price for a single lesson and wish I had booked a package instead.

I suggest going in the late afternoon when it’s less crowded. I found it much easier to focus on my game with fewer people around – made a big difference!
IMG Tennis Academy

I think you should consider packing your own snacks. The on-site food can be pricey, and there aren’t many nearby options for a quick bite.

My advice is to explore the facility a bit before settling down to watch a match. We found some great spots with a better view that we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise!

I recommend checking the schedule for specific events or matches before your visit. We stumbled upon an amazing match that wasn’t even on our radar!
