Hubbard's Marina

I'd say bring your own cooler for drinks and snacks. The marina charges a bit for refreshments, and my cooler had everything I wanted without breaking the bank. Plus, you'll want to stay hydrated!
Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring

I think wearing a rash guard is a must. The sun can be pretty intense on the water, so protect your skin

I suggest getting there around 8 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy the serenity of the spring before it gets busy.

If you want the best experience diving, I recommend checking the water conditions online before you go. They can change quickly!

Don't forget to pack snacks and water! The picnic area is lovely but the place isn't exactly near any stores.
Honolulu Soaring

I suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater, especially if you're sensitive to cooler air at higher altitudes. It can get a bit chilly up there!

If you’re looking to save some cash, ask about any last-minute deals or discounts. I got a nice price cut just by asking when I checked in.
Miami Kiteboarding
I suggest arriving around 10 AM to catch the best wind and avoid the crowds, plus you'll get more one-on-one time with the instructors.

Also, don't forget sunscreen! Even if it's cloudy, the sun can still get you. You don’t want to ruin your trip with a nasty burn.

I think it's worth investing in the all-day rental instead of just a couple hours. You can really get the hang of it, and it ends up being better value for your money.
Davey's Locker Whale Watching & Sportfishing

Bring layers! The weather can change quickly on the water, and I wish I had a jacket handy. It gets chilly out there, even on sunny days.

Check the schedule for whale sightings before you go. They keep updates on where the whales are, and going out during the best sighting times makes a HUGE difference!

I recommend booking your trip in advance especially on weekends. It gets super crowded and you don't want to miss out on a good spot on the boat!
Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School

I suggest bringing some snacks or a packed lunch. The local eateries can be pricey and it's nice to have a little energy boost while climbing without breaking the bank.
The Electric Boat Company

i recommend checking the weather before you go. i didn’t, and it rained on my trip! a little rain can be fun, but i wish i’d packed a waterprooof jacket.

If you can, aim to be there around 9 AM. You’ll have more options for boat types and get the best views of the city while it’s still calm and quiet.

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The boats have coolers, and why pay extra for snacks when you can bring your favorite ones along?
Lake Union Hot Tub Boats
Sail Fish Scuba

I think it’s a good idea to bring your own snacks and drinks. The dive shop’s options were limited, and I was a bit hungry while waiting between dives.

Check ahead for equipment rentals and ensure you're on the same page with sizes. My buddy had a bit of a hassle with fins that didn’t fit right.

If you want to avoid the crowds I suggest booking your dive on a weekday instead of the weekend. I went on a Thursday and it was way less busy which made it way more enjoyable.
All Island Watersports

I suggest booking your sessions online in advance. It can save you time waiting in line and you might find some great deals that aren't available on-site!

If you're planning to go parasailing, try to catch the early morning slots around 9 AM. The weather is usually calmer, and it's less crowded. We had the best experience then!
