La Hoya Cove

Take a moment to just chill at the tide pools. They’re stunning and way less crowded. Great photo ops, plus you might spot some cool sea creatures!
Bring your own snacks. I found that food options near the cove are pricey and can be pretty crowded. Pack a picnic and eat with a view!

If you're into diving, check out the sea caves, but make sure you rent gear from a local shop beforehand to save some cash. Rental prices are pretty steep near the beach.

Go early! I recommend hitting La Jolla Cove around 8 AM to avoid the crowds and snag the best parking spots. Trust me, it gets super busy by 10 AM.
Blue Hole

I think visiting around 10 AM is the sweet spot. Early enough to avoid the crowds, but late enough for the sun to be out and the water warm. I went at noon and it was packed.

I suggest bringing your own snorkel gear if you can. Rentals can be pricey, and having your own feels more comfortable. I wished I had done this on my visit!

One thing I regret is not checking the weather beforehand. It rained during my visit, and it made the experience less enjoyable. Always check forecasts a day before!
BOSS Underwater Adventure

I suggest booking your spot a few days in advance, especially if you're going during peak season. It can fill up fast, and you don’t wanna miss out. Trust me, I had to wait longer than expected, and that cut into my beach time

My advice is to bring some snacks and water with you. There’s not much available after the adventure, and you’ll likely be famished after all that underwater fun. I forgot to pack anything and regretted it!
