Bring your own snacks and water. The lodge prices can be steep, and having some munchies on hand saved me a good chunk of change.

Consider taking a lesson, even if you're not a beginner. The instructors are top-notch, and it really enhanced my skills and confidence on the slopes.

I suggest going in the late morning around 11 AM; the rink was way less crowded and I had more space to skate.

I suggest getting there around 3 PM. The ice isn't as crowded, and you'll have more space to skate. Plus, the sunset views are stunning! I wish I had planned for that on my visit.
