Kaufman Astoria Studios

I suggest taking the 2 PM tour instead of the morning one. It's usually less crowded and you get a better chance to ask questions. I had some amazing insights from the guide since we had more time!
Sunset Gower Studios

i suggest checking out their website for any discounts on tickets before you go. i saved a few bucks that way!

I recommend asking your tour guide about any behind-the-scenes stories; they really enhanced the experience for me and made the tour feel more personal.
Steiner Studios

Consider taking the subway instead of driving. Parking can be a hassle and really expensive, plus the subway drops you right by the studio.

I suggest checking their schedule online before you go. Some days they have more tours available than others, and I nearly missed one because I didn’t plan ahead.

If you're on a budget, I recommend visiting on a weekday. It was less crowded when I went on a Tuesday, and I got a more personal experience.

My advice is to bring a reusable water bottle. They have fountains, and you can save money rather than buying drinks inside!
Yosemite Place

I suggest visiting during weekdays if possible, it's way less crowded. We went on a Friday and really enjoyed the minimal wait times for attractions.
Silvercup Studios

I recommend bringing a snack if you're going to be there for a while. The cafes around can be pricey and have limited options. I wished I had packed something!

I suggest checking their social media for any open house events or special tours. I found out too late that they had one while I was there, and it would’ve been super cool!

Try to catch a glimpse of a live filming if you can. I stumbled upon one and it was so exciting! Just be aware of potential delays.
The Producer's Loft Studio

If you're into local art, definitely try to catch one of their pop-up events. I stumbled upon one, and it totally made my visit so much cooler!

Bring your own snacks! The studio café is kind of pricey, and having some snacks handy made my day way more enjoyable without breaking the bank.

I suggest booking your visit online to save some time. The lines can get long, especially on weekends, and it's a bummer to waste time waiting.
Raleigh Studios Hollywood

My advice is to check out the filming schedule before you go. I missed seeing a live shoot because I didn’t know a big production was happening that day.

If you get hungry, grab a meal at nearby eateries instead of the studios' own cafe. I found some amazing taco places just a few blocks away that were way cheaper.
Hollywood Casting and Film

I suggest checking their schedule online before you go. Some classes and auditions can be last minute and you don't wanna miss out on those opportunities. I missed a big one because I didn’t look ahead.

My advice is to arrive around 10 AM. That's when they have more staff available to help you navigate. It felt less hectic compared to later in the day.
Mercury Studios

I suggest wearing comfortable shoes. You’re going to do quite a bit of walking around, and trust me, your feet will thank you after a couple of hours!

Purchase your tickets online in advance. I thought I could just get them at the door, but there was a long line. Getting them ahead of time will save you tons of waiting time

Try to grab some lunch at a nearby café before visiting. The area has some great spots, and it’ll save you from spending too much on overpriced snacks inside the studio.
Chi Film Studio

One thing I noticed was that some exhibits aren't as interactive as you might hope. So don’t expect to touch everything - just enjoy the photos and vibes!

I recommend arriving around 10 AM to beat the crowds. It gets pretty packed later, and you'll have more time to soak in the cool set designs without too many people buzzin' around.
