Lincoln Centre
Pro tip: If you're interested in the architecture, take some time to explore the surroundings. I stumbled upon interesting spots like the nice sculptures and fountains that aren't usually mentioned in guides
If you want the best photo ops, head to the fountain right before sunset. The light is just magical then, and it's less crowded. I managed to get some stunning snaps!
Washington National Opera
If you're planning to grab a bite beforehand, hit up the nearby food trucks around 5 pm instead of the pricey restaurants nearby. So many delicious options!
I've noticed that the acoustics are way better in the front rows so if you're not on a tight budget try to snag seats in the first five rows for an immersive experience.
I recommend checking for last-minute tickets, you can score some great deals! I got a fabulous seat at half price just a few hours before the show.
Metropolitan Opera Building
Check out the rush tickets! I got lucky and snagged some for a last-minute show. Just be prepared to queue early for the best chance!
If you're planning to see a performance, I suggest booking your tickets well in advance. I found some great deals online, but they sell out fast, especially for popular shows.
Santa Fe Opera House
Bring a light jacket or blanket; it can get chilly once the sun sets, even in summer. I was freezing during the second act and regretted not being prepared!
Try to catch a performance on a Thursday or Sunday for lower ticket prices... I saved a good chunk of change doing this!
