Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Steamboat Ski Resort
The Roosevelt Island Tramway
If you want to skip the longer lines, try visiting during the week instead of on weekends. I went on a Thursday morning and it was pretty quick!
I think the ride at sunset is one of the most beautiful experiences. If you can, aim for around 6:30 PM for those stunning views!
Don't forget to bring your camera. The views from the tram are amazing, especially when you're gliding over the East River – just be ready to snap that shot.
Steamboat Gondola
Plan some time for the base area too. Relax and enjoy the eateries and shops after your ride. I found a cozy coffee spot I wish I’d discovered earlier!
Telluride Mountain Village Gondola
My advice is to pack some snacks and drinks. The gondola is free, but food up top can get pricey. Plus, it makes the ride even more enjoyable!
If you're into photography, try to ride during the golden hour just before sunset. The lighting is incredible, but just be careful about catching the last ride back down!
South Waterfront Lower Tram Terminal
I recommend checking the weather before you go—if it's foggy, you might miss the killer views from the top!
I suggest you go around 9am to avoid the crowds, plus the views are stunning with the morning light!
Skyride to Paradise Point
Take some time to walk around up there. The observation deck has some fantastic photo ops you won’t want to miss, plus it's a nice break from the heat.
Grab a drink at the top! The bar has great cocktails, and nothing beats sipping one while soaking in the panoramic views of Charlotte Amalie
K1 Express Gondola
Don't forget to dress in layers! The gondola ride can be chilly, but once you hit the slopes, you might want to shed some layers. I was super grateful I did this.
If you're planning on skiing or snowboarding, buy your lift tickets online in advance. I saved a good chunk of change compared to buying them there.
I suggest getting there early, like around 9 AM, to avoid the long lines and get the best views without the crowds. It makes a huge difference!
Jackson Hole Aerial Tram and Gondola Rides
I suggest checking the weather before you go. The views can be stunning or non-existent depending on fog. I found it disappointing to go up and not see anything. Bring a light jacket too, it gets chilly at the top
