I suggest wearing comfortable shoes. There’s a lot of walking, and the marble floors can be a bit slippery. I almost took a spill!

Check the gardens outside—there’s something special about the floral displays. I nearly missed them, and they added a lovely touch to my visit!

If you can, visit right when it opens at 7:30 AM. The morning light is stunning and the crowds are way smaller, giving you some nice photo ops!
St. Joseph Cathedral
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
Cathedral of Our Lady of Saigon

Don’t just snap photos outside! The interior is beautiful too, but if you visit during mass, be respectful and don’t take pictures. I learned that the hard way!

Go early in the morning, around 7:30 AM. It’s less crowded, and the light is perfect for photos. I got my best shots then, plus it felt really peaceful!

Check the weather before visiting. Rain can really mess up your photos and plans. I got caught in a shower, and it slightly ruined my experience.

Bring some small change for donations. There are often church activities or renovations, and it feels great to contribute a bit. I didn’t have any cash on me, which felt bad.
Golden Bridge
Linh Ung Pagoda

I recommend bringing some water and snacks. There's not much food around, and it's nice to recharge after walking around.
I think taking a taxi or Grab is the best way to get there. Parking can be a hassle, and you can enjoy the views without worrying about your car.

I suggest visiting Linh Ung Pagoda around 8 AM to avoid the midday crowds and heat. The peace in the morning is totally worth it.

If you're planning on snapping some pics, don't forget your camera! The views from the pagoda are stunning, especially with the big Buddha statue
