Chicago's Reloaded

Make sure you chat with the locals at the bar. They know the best spots around and can give you insider tips on where to go next; I got some great recommendations.

Don't forget to bring cash for tips! While cards might be accepted, tipping in cash felt more appreciated, and it gave me a chance to make a better impression on the staff!

Try to hit up Chicago's Reloaded on a weeknight instead of the weekend; it's way less crowded and you get to enjoy the vibe without feeling rushed. Plus, you'll have more personal service from the staff.
Sky Bar Lounge
Try to go just before sunset, around 5:30 PM, for breathtaking views and great vibes. It's a perfect time for snapping pics!

My advice is to ask the staff for their drink specials; they often have great deals that aren’t advertised and can save you some cash.

if you plan to enjoy cocktails, i think you should get their signature drinks! they were awesome, but i wish i'd tried them earlier in the night rather than just at the end.

I recommend checking if there are any special events like live music or themed nights. They can really elevate your experience!
The Elephant Cafe

I suggest you explore the art gallery in the cafe. It was a nice surprise! Spend just 15-20 mins checking it out before you settle down for a meal. It adds a nice touch to the whole experience.

I recommend getting their famous Elephant Burger – it's huge! But share it if you’re not super hungry; I made the mistake of finishing it alone and regretted having to leave dessert behind.

I think you should go for breakfast around 8 AM. They have some really great smoothies that are refreshing before your day starts! The vibes are super chill in the morning too.

My advice is to ask about the daily specials... I ordered something off the menu, but saw someone else’s dish that looked amazing and was cheaper... Don't miss out
Cocktail Cafe Zm

I think it's best to visit on a weekday if you want a calmer atmosphere. The weekends can get super crowded and it's harder to find a good spot plus you'll spend more time waiting for drinks.

If you're planning to go at night, I recommend taking a cab, the parking can be tricky and a bit unsafe. You can easily grab a ride home after a few drinks, it's totally safe.

I wouldn't waste time on the food menu, just focus on the drinks. The snacks are okay, but they take forever! Grab a bite somewhere else before you head over.
Marlin Restaurant
Kubu Cafe

I suggest trying their breakfast menu. The pancakes are to die for and very filling! They usually have daily specials, so you can get something unique and tasty without breaking the bank.

I think lunchtime can get super busy, especially on weekends. If you're planning to grab a meal around noon, maybe come a bit earlier, like 11:30 AM. You'll get quicker service!

My advice is to ask for a local dish; I tried the Zambian casserole and it was amazing. Way better than just sticking to the usual cafe fare!
