GBR Helicopters
I suggest wearing layers. It can get pretty cool up there, especially if you're doing a longer flight. A light jacket makes a huge difference, and you won’t be stuck feeling chilly!
If you're thinking of bringing kids, check their age limits. I found it a bit frustrating to figure out the rules on-site; I wish I’d looked into that before going.
I recommend booking your flight in the morning, like around 9 AM. The views are clearer and less crowded, plus you’ll have the rest of the day to explore the area after the ride
Great Barrier Reef Helicopter Tour and Cruise
My advice is to bring a good camera, but make sure it has a strap! I almost lost mine while taking pics. The views are just stunning, and you’ll want to capture every moment!
CQ Adventure Flights
Bring a small go-pro or ask if you can film! I didn't realize they allowed it and missed capturing some epic moments. Trust me, you'll want to relive those spins and flips later!
Check the weather ahead of time. It can get windy, and that might delay or reschedule your flight. I had to wait an extra day because of it, but at least it was worth the wait when I finally flew!
If you're keen on aerobatics, I recommend booking your flight early in the day... The visibility is usually better and it makes the whole experience more thrilling! Plus, you avoid crowds later in the afternoon
Air Play Hang Gliding
Bring a good camera or GoPro for awesome shots while you’re soaring. I regret not capturing those stunning views
