Bring your own lunch or snacks to save money on food. The mountain restaurants are pricey, and I was shocked by the meal costs!
Eisriesenwelt Ice Cave

Check the weather! It can get freezing in the cave compared to outside, so layering up is a smart move. I had to borrow a jacket from my friend!

Be ready for a bit of a wait if you’re going in peak season. We went at 10 AM and it was packed! Maybe coming around 4 PM would give you shorter lines.

I think you should take your time exploring the surrounding area after the tour. The views are stunning, and you'll get some great pics! Don’t rush off to your next stop immediately.

My advice is to carry a flashlight. In some parts of the cave it gets super dark, and it can be hard to appreciate the ice formations without a bit of extra light.
Reitschule Mösl-Haregg

My advice is to wear riding boots if you have them. Sneakers might be okay, but that little extra grip on boots made my ride way more enjoyable!

I suggest booking your riding lessons ahead of time, especially on weekends. It gets busy, and I almost missed my spot because I didn’t plan ahead.
Steinbrucken Cave

Definitely wear sturdy shoes! The paths can be slippery and rocky, and I learned that the hard way. A good grip will make exploring the cave so much easier and safer.

If you're planning to take photos, go for the 3 PM tour. The lighting is perfect then, and you'll get some amazing shots without too many other people in the way.
