Hohensalzburg
Mozart's Birthplace

I suggest downloading the audio guide on your phone. It was super helpful and way more informative than the printed material. Plus, it’s free!

Consider buying a combined ticket for Mozart's Birthplace and the Residence. It saved me a few euros and I got to see more of his history which was awsome.

You might wanna visit during the morning, around 9 AM. It was way less crowded, and I could really take my time looking at everything without being rushed.

Do wear comfy shoes! The floors can be slippery and uneven, and you might end up on your feet exploring for a while, just like I did.
Mirabell Palace
Museum of Moderne Salzburg

Definitely check out the rooftop terrace! The views of Salzburg are stunning, and it's a great spot to take a breather between exhibits. I almost missed it and would have regretted it.

Remember to take a break at the museum café. They serve delicious coffee and pastries! It's a nice spot to sit down and recharge your batteries before hitting more exhibits.
If you love contemporary art, do your best to catch the temporary exhibitions; they’re always changing. I found the current exhibition really unique and worth the visit!

I recommend grabbing the audio guide. It provides super insightful info about the exhibits! It made my experience way more enjoyable than just wandering around aimlessly.
DomQuartier Salzburg

I think going on a weekday is way better. I went on a Saturday and it was packed. The quiet days really let you absorb everything better.

Check out the audio guide! I almost skipped it, but it really added so much to the experience. It’s like having a little museum buddy!

Take your time in the Dom itself before moving on. I rushed through, but it's so beautiful and has some cool history – take some pics!
Schloss Hellbrunn
Erlebnisburg Hohenwerfen

Take the time to explore the castle grounds and not just the interior. The views from the top are stunning especially in the late afternoon when the sun starts to set.

If you’re planning to eat there, check their menu prices first. The food can be a bit pricey, but it's good quality and worth it if you’re hungry after all the exploring.

Don’t miss the falconry show—it was a highlight of my trip! Arrive 15 minutes early to snag a good seat and get the best views.

I suggest buying your tickets online in advance to skip the long queues at the entrance. It saved me a bunch of time!
