I think packing some snacks saves you big bucks. The food around Hallstatt can be pricey, and I wish I had brought my own treats for the hikes.

I think it's smart to bring your own snacks and water. The cave can get pretty warm and having something to munch on made our visit way more enjoyable!

My advice is to wear sturdy shoes. The paths can be uneven and a bit slippery—trust me, I learned the hard way on that one!
