Bowling Stones
Zolder

I recommend exploring the surrounding area after your visit. There's a lovely park just a few minutes away, perfect for grabbing a pic-nic or relaxing after the excitement of the track.

Bring your own snacks and drinks! The food stalls are super pricey and not that great. I saved a lot by just packing a cooler – it made my day way more enjoyable

My advice is to arrive right at 9 a.m. when they open. Parking can fill up quickly during events and you'll have a better chance to snag a good spot.
If you're planning to visit the racetrack, I suggest checking the event schedule online first... I thought I could just show up, but all the good events were sold out... Totally bummed
O'Learys
Aspen

If you're looking to rent gear, try checking out local shops instead of the resort. I found them to be cheaper and more flexible! Plus, the folks there were super helpful in making sure I had the right fit.

Definitely try to look for combo tickets if you plan on doing multiple activities like skating and snowboarding. I thought I was gonna pay a fortune, but bundling saved me a good chunk of change!

My advice is to bring some snacks and drinks with you. The food prices at the resort can be kinda steep, and I regretted spending too much on a simple hot chocolate!
Shootingworld
Plopsaland De Panne

Consider getting the Plopsaland app. It shows real-time wait times for rides, which helps you plan your day better and avoid unnecessary waiting.

For lunch, I suggest packing a picnic to save some cash. The food inside is a bit pricey, and having lunch on the grass felt more relaxing.

Try to prioritize the popular rides first, like the roller coasters. Get those in early, because by the afternoon, the wait times can be over an hour for the big ones.

I recommend arriving right when the park opens at 10 AM. It gets super busy later, and you’ll have a way better experience with shorter lines for the popular rides like Anubis and the roller coasters.
Wijnegem Petanque Club

If you're new to pétanque, I suggest arriving around 4 PM when they’re usually more relaxed and open to explain the rules. It’s a great time to mingle and join a casual game.

Bring your own snacks and drinks. The on-site options are a bit limited and can be pricey. I wish I had packed a picnic to enjoy while watching the games!

I recommend wearing comfy shoes. The terrain can be a bit uneven, and you’ll want to be able to move around easily if you’re joining a game.

Definitely check if they have any local tournaments going on. It’s super fun to watch and you might even get tips from seasoned players. I caught an exciting match during my visit!
Bounce-it

Definitely bring a change of clothes! Things can get messy while zorbing, and you'll feel much more comfortable exploring afterward without feeling like a soggy sponge.

I suggest booking in advance, especially on weekends. It gets pretty busy, and you don’t want to miss out on the action! I learned that the hard way when we arrived and had to wait longer than expected.

If you can, try to go on a weekday. The lines are way shorter, and you'll have more time to enjoy each activity without feeling rushed.
Shooting Gallery Aalst
Paintball Hal Merksplas

My advice is to wear old clothes, you’ll get paint everywhere! I saw people in nice gear and they were not looking happy after the first round. Just a little paintball stain can ruin your favorite shirt.
I think it's smart to arrive at least 30 minutes early. They have a briefing before you start, and you'll wanna have time to gear up and get your game face on. Trust me, you'll feel less rushed.
