Lagoon Colorado
Laguna Colorada

I recommend bringing cash for entry fees because there were no ATMs around. I had to backtrack and waste time looking for one, which was a bummer.

My advice is to stay until dusk. The colors change beautifully and it’s way less crowded than during midday when all the tour buses arrive.
Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve
Torotoro National Park

I recommend bringing snacks and plenty of water because food options are pretty limited in the park. I ran out of energy midway through my hike and had to cut my day short.

My advice is to wear sturdy shoes. Some trails can be slippery and rocky. I slipped once and it made me realize how important good footwear is, especially if you want to explore more of the park.
Polques Hot Springs

I recommend bringing your own snacks and water, because the food options around can be a bit hit or miss and kind of pricy. I didn't do this and regretted it once I got there!

My advice is to soak in the hot springs around 5 PM. The sunset views are jaw-dropping and way less crowded plus you can get some stunning photos without the rush
