Rafain Churrascaria Show
The Oscar Niemeyer Museum

Bring some snacks or a packed lunch! The cafe has limited options, and they can be a bit overpriced. I paid way too much for a sandwich. Pack your own goodies!

Don't forget to explore the outdoor areas too! The views of the museum's unique architecture against the sky are stunning. I kinda missed this part, and regretted it.

I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can; weekends can get packed and you might find yourself waiting in line for tickets. I went on a Thursday, and it was much quieter.
Marche Public de Florianopolis

If you're a foodie like me, don’t skip the fresh seafood stalls! I tried a delicious grilled octopus that was to die for. Don’t hesitate to ask vendors about their daily specials too - they often have hidden gems.

Plan for lunch here! The food court has a ton of options, but I recommend the pastel de feira. Grab it and enjoy it with a cold coconut water while you soak in the atmosphere
Visit during weekdays if you can. Saturdays can get super crowded, and you'll spend more time dodging people than enjoying the market vibe. I went on a Tuesday and it felt more relaxed.

Keep an eye out for the local craft stands. I found some amazing handmade souvenirs that were much more affordable than in touristy shops. It’s a great way to support local artisans.
Kattamaram II
Foz do Iguacu Buddhist Temple
Ecomuseum of Itaipu
If you can, grab a combo ticket for Itaipu and the Eco Museum. I didn’t do it at first and ended up spending more than I planned!

My advice is to take advantage of the free guided tours. They give a lot of extra info that you won’t get from the displays. It really made my visit more enriching!
PUCRS Museum of Science and Technology

If you plan to go on a Saturday, get there by 10 AM. It gets crowded later and you might miss some activities if you arrive too late.

I suggest you check out their website before you go, they have some promotions for entry tickets that can save you a few bucks. I thought it was super helpful!

Take a break at the café; the snacks are tasty and fairly priced. I grabbed a coffee and it was a nice pick-me-up during my visit!

My advice is to take your time at the interactive exhibits. I rushed through them but they were really fun and I missed out on some cool info!
Metropolitan Cathedral of Florianopolis

I suggest bringing a camera, but also just taking a moment to soak in the atmosphere without snapping photos. Some of my best memories are just standing there appreciating the peace.

Plan your visit on a weekday if you can. The weekends can get pretty crowded, making it hard to enjoy the beautiful details of the architecture.

My advice is to check the schedule for any special events or masses before you go. I accidentally stumbled on a lovely choir performance which made the visit super special!
Mesquita Omar Ibn Al-Khattab

I recommend visiting in the morning around 9 AM when it opens. The light is stunning for photos and there are fewer people! Trust me, you'll avoid the crowds.
