Banff National Park

If you can, visit Lake Louise around 7 AM. The sunrise is magical and you'll beat the crowds for those perfect photos. Trust me, you want that Insta shot!

I think it’s a good idea to buy the Parks Canada Pass in advance online. Parking can get tight, and you don’t want to waste time waiting in line for that.

My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. There are some pricey cafes around, and you can save a ton by packing a picnic, plus you can eat it at the best spots!
Prairie Mountain

I suggest bringing a good camera for the top views, but also remember a small tripod to get those perfect shots, especially during golden hour. You won’t regret it!

My advice is to pack some snacks and plenty of water. There are no shops once you start your hike and trust me you'll get hungry on the way up!

I think it’s worth checking the weather a few days ahead. It can change fast, and I got caught in unexpected rain. Waterproof gear is a must if the forecast looks cloudy!

If you're planning to hike up Prairie Mountain, I recommend starting around 7 AM. The earlier you go, the nicer the weather and fewer people you encounter. Plus, you get to enjoy the sunrise views!
Grotto Canyon Trail

I suggest hitting the trail around 8 AM, when it’s less crowded and you can enjoy the peace of nature. Plus, you’ll have gorgeous morning light for photos!

I recommend checking the weather beforehand and, if it’s been rainy, to be cautious about muddy patches. I got my shoes REALLY dirty, but it was still worth it!

My advice is to wear good hiking shoes; the rocky terrain can be tricky, and I slipped a few times in sandals. It’s better to be safe than sorry!
East End Of Rundle
Jasper National Park Of Canada

I suggest hitting the trails early, like around 7 AM, to avoid the crowds and catch the beautiful sunrise. It was stunning when I did it!

Don’t forget layers! The weather can change quickly, and I got caught in a chilly downpour without my jacket. Bring something warm and waterproof!
If you're planning to drive, I suggest getting a Parks Canada annual pass if you intend to visit other parks. It saved me lots of cash!

My advice is to pack a lunch. Dining in the park can get pricy, and there are some amazing picnic spots with breathtaking views. I wish I had done this.
Moraine Lake
Columbia Icefield Glacier
Waterton Lakes
Banff Upper Hot Springs

I suggest checking the weather before heading up. It started snowing when I went, and I didn’t get to enjoy the views as much as I wanted
