Hilton Falls Trail
The Crack Trail

I suggest starting the hike early around 8 AM to enjoy cooler temperatures and fewer crowds. The sunrise views are totally worth it!

I think it’s a good idea to budget extra time for the views at the top. You’ll want to sit back and soak in the stunning scenery – it’s a real reward after the trek!
My advice is to bring plenty of water and snacks. There are no facilities along the trail, and you don't want to run out of energy halfway up!
Sixteen Mile Creek Trail Loop
Lion's Head Loop via Bruce Trail
Algonquin Provincial Park

I suggest bringing your own food and drinks. The park has some dining options, but they can get pricey and have limited hours. I saved a lot packing a picnic!

My advice is to arrive around 8 AM to snag a good parking spot, especially on weekends. By noon, it can get super crowded and it's a pain looking for somewhere to park!

I recommend downloading offline maps. Cell service can be spotty and I got lost a couple of times. Having a map saved me a lot of headache!
Centennial Ridges Trail
Killarney Provincial Park

Bring your own snacks and plenty of water. There aren’t many shops around and food can be pricey inside the park. Plus picnicking by the water is so much more enjoyable!

Plan your hike around 8 AM to beat the crowds and soak in the peaceful morning vibes. Trust me, the sunrise over the lakes is something you don’t want to miss!

If you’re into photography, grab a good zoom lens. The wildlife and landscapes are stunning! Just be patient and keep your distance for the best shots.
Bruce Trail
Track and Tower Trail

I suggest packing a good lunch and plenty of water. There are some beautiful spots along the trail where you can take a break and enjoy the view, so why not make the most of it? It saved us a ton compared to buying snacks along the way

My advice is to wear proper hiking shoes. I made the mistake of wearing my regular sneakers and it got super slippery in some areas. Trust me, you'll enjoy the hike way more with good grip.
