Look for combo deals or tastings. I stumbled upon a couple of stands that offered samples if you bought something, which saved me a few bucks while exploring.
Ask locals for recommendations; I tried a sandwich that a friendly vendor suggested and it was the best bite of the day! Totally worth stepping out of my comfort zone.
Bring cash, especially for the smaller vendors! Some of them don’t accept cards and I regretted not having a bit more on me to try more goodies.
Plan for a leisurely afternoon, because you'll want to try a bit of everything. I spent way longer than expected strolling and munching, which ended up being the highlight of my visit.

If you're taking public transport, get off at the Union Station. It's super close and you won’t waste time finding your way. Plus, it's an easy hop on the train back if you've had an exhausting day!
Check out the roof opening! I was lucky enough to be there on a day they opened it. It's a unique experience that should not be missed, so ask around to see if it’ll be open when you visit!

Young Dundas Square
If you're into photography, the best light is around late afternoon. I got some great shots just after 5 PM when the sun was setting.
My advice is to check local event schedules before your visit. You might stumble on a cool concert or market that makes your trip even better
