Parks Places Map
Parks in Quebec:
Park Mont Royal
La Fontaine Park
I think it’s great to explore the little paths off the main walkways. You’ll find cozy spots and maybe even some local art installations that aren’t super touristy.
I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks to save money at La Fontaine Park. The cafes can be a bit pricey, and having a picnic on the grass is so much more fun!
Olympique de Montreal Park
Park National de Mont-Tremblant
Zhari Park
I suggest hitting the trails in the early morning, around 8 AM. The fresh air feels awesome and you'll get some great photos with less glare from the daily sun.
Fields of Abraham
My advice is to wear comfy shoes and be prepared for some walking. The park is bigger than it looks, and I regret wearing my new kicks—blisters galore!
Gatineau Park Visitor Center
Fundi National Park
I recommend visiting Fundi National Park during the weekday if you can; weekends can get crowded and parking becomes a hassle. I went on a Friday and it was much more peaceful.
Check out the visitor center first. They have pamphlets and staff who give great insider tips about the best trails; I almost missed the most stunning viewpoint because I didn't stop there first!
Jean-Mans Park
Bring your own water bottle. You can refill it at fountains around the park, and it saved me from spending cash on drinks. I think staying hydrated really made my day more enjoyable.
Angrignon Park
If you love birdwatching, bring binoculars! There are tons of bird species here, and I was pleasantly surprised by how many I spotted. Just wish I had a better camera!
