I think it's best to get to Cavancha Beach around 4 PM. The sun is still up, but it's not too hot, and that's when the vibe starts to pick up with locals chilling and events sometimes happening.

My advice is to explore a bit beyond the main beach. There are quieter spots nearby where you can relax without the crowds and still enjoy the beautiful views. I wish I’d done that sooner!

Don't miss out on the food stalls along the beach! I suggest trying the ceviche; it’s fresh and tasty! Just a heads up, bring cash since some places don’t accept cards, which was an inconvenience for me.

I suggest booking your flight well in advance; the prices are way better than last-minute deals. I saved a lot that way!

I recommend visiting during sunrise or sunset for the best views and less wind. The colors and vibes are incredible plus it feels less crowded!
