Oriental Pearl

Don't forget to check out the museum at the base of the tower; it’s super interesting and often overlooked by tourists

I suggest grabbing a bite at a nearby street food stall before or after your visit for a tasty and budget-friendly meal that local people enjoy.

Buy your tickets online ahead of time to avoid long lines; it's a total game changer and saves you so much time. I wish I had done this!

Be ready for crowds, especially on weekends; if you can, visit on a weekday morning for a more relaxed experience.
Shanghai Disneyland

Plan your day around the parades and nighttime show. They’re amazing but can draw huge crowds. I missed out on a ride because I didn't time it right, so learn from my mistake!

If the weather’s nice, take your time in the gardens. They're stunning and a peaceful break from all the rides. I spent half an hour there, and it really refreshed me for more fun!

meal prices can be crazy. i suggest bringing some snacks or a light lunch. you can always find a nice spot to sit and have a picnic. i saved like 50 rmb.

Notice that some rides close for maintenance at certain times. I kinda got bummed when I arrived hoping to ride one, so check the schedule and plan a bit in advance!
Shanghai World Finance Center
Shanghai Mercedes
Huangshan Mountain

My advice is to bring snacks and plenty of water. Food around the mountain can be pretty pricey and not the best quality. I wish I had packed more lunch – I ended up paying way more for a mediocre meal.

I recommend taking the cable car up to save your legs for hiking instead of exhausting yourself on the steep paths. It gives you more time to explore the stunning views. Just check the cable car schedule – I missed it and had to wait around
Jin Mao
Hefei Olympic Sports Center Stadium

I suggest you arrive about 30 minutes before the event starts. It really helped me find my seat without the mad rush, and you can soak up the buzz before the game begins! Plus, it gives you time to grab a snack.

Definitely check if there are any local events or matches happening on the day you visit. I stumbled upon a mini-football tournament which was a lot of fun to watch!

My advice is to check out the local food vendors outside the stadium. I saved a decent amount by eating there instead of inside, and the food was just as good—definitely a lot more authentic too!
Mount Kailash
I recommend starting the Kora trek early in the morning around 5 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy the peace of the sunrise. Trust me it's totally worth it.

My advice is to pack high-energy snacks instead of relying on local food stalls. Some places can be a bit pricey and the options are limited on the trail, so come prepared.
Tai Shan
SMP Skateboard Park

My advice is to bring your own water and snacks. The food options near the park are pretty pricey and don’t have great variety. Grab a bite beforehand and save some cash for more skate gear later!
