I recommend visiting on a weekday around 2 PM. The crowds were much smaller and I could really take my time exploring the exhibits without feeling rushed.

Check out the special exhibitions; they're usually less crowded and often really fascinating! My favorite one had some amazing artifacts that aren't in the permanent collection.

Consider visiting on a weekday. I found it much less crowded on a Tuesday, which made my experience more enjoyable.

My advice is to grab the audio guide. It’s only a small fee, but it really enhances the experience. Some exhibits didn’t have much info, and the guide filled in a lot of gaps for me
