Museum of Contemporary Art in Medellin

I suggest visiting on a weekend morning when it’s less crowded. Around 10 AM is perfect to soak in the art without feeling rushed around the other visitors.

Bring a reusable water bottle; there are nice places to sit and enjoy the garden outside, and you'll want to stay hydrated without spending on drinks inside.

I recommend checking out their schedule online before you go, as they sometimes have special exhibits or events that can really enhance your experience.

Check if there's a discount available for students or seniors; I was able to save a couple of bucks with my student ID, which made my visit feel even better!
Castle Museum

My advice is to save some time for the gardens outside. They're gorgeous for photos and a great spot to relax after the museum tour.

If you're on a budget, consider bringing your own snacks. The cafe has limited options and can be a bit pricey for what you get!

I suggest checking out the museum's schedule for special exhibitions before you go; I stumbled upon an amazing show that wasn't on my radar. Totally worth it!

Try to avoid weekends if you can; the lines can get long and it's super busy. If you must go then, I say show up right when it opens at 10 AM!

If you're into photography, go in the late afternoon. The natural light coming through the big windows creates amazing shots of the artwork. Just watch out for glare on the glass!

I recommend checking if there's a 'free entry' day before you go. I stumbled upon it and saved some cash for more souvenirs. The locals really seemed to enjoy that day, too.

I suggest grabbing a coffee at the little cafe on the first floor. It's a nice spot to take a break, and the prices are pretty reasonable for the area. Don't miss their pastries!

Plan to spend some time in the outdoor sculpture park – I thought I'd just zip through, but honestly, it turned out to be one of my fave parts! Bring a snack for a small picnic.

My advice is to spend some time in the outdoor areas after your visit. There’s a nice park around it that's perfect for chilling or even having a picnic. I kind of missed that part and it looked so chill.

I think you should try to visit on a weekday, especially Tuesday or Wednesday, to avoid the weekend crowds. It made my experience way more relaxed and enjoyable.
San Pedro Cemetery Museum

I suggest you take a guided tour if you can. It really enhances the experience, and you get some cool stories that you wouldn't just pick up wandering around. Plus, they usually cost the same as the entrance fee!

Make sure to bring some water, especially if you're visiting around midday - it can get really hot walking around! I learned the hard way, and a cool drink made my visit so much better
