Explora Park
Museum of Contemporary Art in Medellin
Bring a reusable water bottle; there are nice places to sit and enjoy the garden outside, and you'll want to stay hydrated without spending on drinks inside.
I recommend checking out their schedule online before you go, as they sometimes have special exhibits or events that can really enhance your experience.
Check if there's a discount available for students or seniors; I was able to save a couple of bucks with my student ID, which made my visit feel even better!
Don't skip the gift shop! I found some really unique souvenirs that weren't just the usual touristy stuff and at reasonable prices.
Castle Museum
I suggest checking out the museum's schedule for special exhibitions before you go; I stumbled upon an amazing show that wasn't on my radar. Totally worth it!
Try to avoid weekends if you can; the lines can get long and it's super busy. If you must go then, I say show up right when it opens at 10 AM!
Museum of Antioquia
Plan to spend some time in the outdoor sculpture park – I thought I'd just zip through, but honestly, it turned out to be one of my fave parts! Bring a snack for a small picnic.
Antioquia Museum
Memory House Museum
Water Museum EPM
I think you should try to visit on a weekday, especially Tuesday or Wednesday, to avoid the weekend crowds. It made my experience way more relaxed and enjoyable.
San Pedro Cemetery Museum
I suggest you take a guided tour if you can. It really enhances the experience, and you get some cool stories that you wouldn't just pick up wandering around. Plus, they usually cost the same as the entrance fee!
Make sure to bring some water, especially if you're visiting around midday - it can get really hot walking around! I learned the hard way, and a cool drink made my visit so much better
